Gillian is an internationally-recognised expert in her field, in particular on the history of the lingerie industry. She was also co-author of the first lingerie book for more than 45 years and has regularly worked as an expert consultant for radio and TV. 

Her strong links with industry have been built on a career working with huge fashion names such as Karl Lagerfeld and Armani. As a result students and graduates go on to secure placements and employment with some of the world’s biggest design names, including Abercrombie & Fitch, H&M, Agent Provocateur, Gap and Tommy Hilfiger.
