Personal profile

I began working as a senior lecturer in social work in October 2017 and am responsible for the practice learning element of the course programme.

As a registered social worker, I had 18 years experience in local authority as a social work practitioner, manager and educator. My main area of practice was children's social work, including working for a number of years with unaccompanied young people seeking sanctuary. For four years, just prior to starting at ذكذكتسئµ, I was responsible for coordinating and delivering the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment programme for newly qualified social workers as well as delivering training on a number of other areas of social work practice.
