COP28 schedule | ذكذكتسئµ Dubai campus
Dubai will take centre stage as COP28 – the most important climate change conference yet to take place – is staged in the United Arab Emirates.
ذكذكتسئµ has a pavilion in the COP28 Blue Zone but events are also taking place at the ذكذكتسئµ Leicester campus and at the ذكذكتسئµ Dubai campus.
Events planned for ذكذكتسئµ Dubai are listed below:

Research showcase | Wednesday 22 November
A seminar series highlighting the relevant sustainability research areas will be conducted across the COP28 period, for all staff and students, starting on 22 November.
Time: 2.30pm launch

Guest Lecture | Thursday 23 November
Speaker Jan Cai will deliver the ذكذكتسئµ Dubai guest lecture to students and staff on the subject of Human-Centered Design.

A Field Trip to Masdar City | Friday 24 November
This trip to Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, will allow students to learn more about designing low carbon buildings in the United Arab Emirates. It is open to all students from the Arts, Design & Humanities faculty.

COP 28 presentations | Monday 4 December - Tuesday 12 December
The team of academics and PhD researchers into climate change from ذكذكتسئµ Leicester will give their Blue Zone presentations to students and staff on the ذكذكتسئµ Dubai campus.
Time: 11am

Visit to COP 28 Green Zone | Monday 4 December - Friday 8 December
Three groups of 20 student each day will visit the Green Zone at the COP 28 climate change conference at Expo City, Dubai, in trips led by the faculties.
Time: All day

Art installation and workshop | Monday 4 December
This event related to issues surrounding climate change will include students from outside the campus and professionals from the community.
Time: 2-5pm

Roundtable event | Wednesday 6 December
The event will include professionals and industry experts and discuss issues related to climate change and action.
Time: 3-5pm and 5-7pm

Art installation and workshop | Monday 11 December
This second event in the series related to issues surrounding climate change will include students from outside the campus and professionals from the community.
Time: 2-5pm

Discussion panel | Tuesday 12 December
The event will focus on a discussion of relevant climate change issues and include professionals and industry experts and will be both in-person and virtual.
Time: 6-8pm

Exhibition of the art installation | Tuesday 12 December
The work created by the art installation will be exhibited as the centrepiece of a networking event that will include some professionals and students.
Time: 4-5pm
