The Leicester City Council’s will take place this year on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June.
On these dates the section of Western Boulevard between the junctions with Braunstone Gate and the Tarragon Road roundabout will be closed to vehicles from 7am on Saturday until 8pm on Sunday.
Access to New Wharf Hall. Bede Hall and The Venue Car Park will be maintained. Students/staff members will need to stop at the closure points for entry to be allowed by the council’s stewards.
Access to The Newarke will not be possible via Western Boulevard but the bollard below the Turret Gateway on Castle View will be removed during the festival to allow access to The Newarke and Newarke Close for students resident at Newarke Point.
