Ms Shikha Singh BA MSc
Shikha Singh was appointed an independent governor in October 2023. She is a member of the Finance and Performance Committee, and the Remuneration Committee
Shikha has over 15 years of experience as a strategy and operations leader, with a proven track record of building and leading high performing, cross functional teams. Her ability to distil complex concepts into a succinct, compelling narrative has enabled her impact across large scale transformation programs in business services, client delivery, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. Having started her career in consulting, Shikha’s focus has been in the financial services and insurance sectors.
Shikha brings a global perspective to the table, having lived, worked and studied in Asia, Europe and the US. She was a recent fellow with the International Women’s Forum and is passionate about advancing diversity, equity and inclusion agendas in the organisations of which she is a part.
Shikha holds an MSc in International Management (with a focus on China) from SOAS, University of London; a Masters Certificate in Chinese Studies from the Johns Hopkins University – Nanjing University Centre for Chinese and American Studies, and a BA in Political Economy and Chinese from Georgetown University.
In addition to English, Shikha speaks Chinese and Hindi. Having lived, studied and worked in Hong Kong, Washington DC, Beijing and Chicago, she currently resides in London.
