Pharmacist

Have a keen interest in medicine but don’t want to become a doctor? If so, this could be the career for you. You’ll be responsible for supplying medicines to patients and giving advice on correct dosage, explaining how to take prescribed drugs, and discussing any potential side effects.  As well as working as a community or hospital pharmacist, pharmacy graduates can also find opportunities in academia, in the pharmaceutical industry and with regulatory bodies. Our graduates have gone on to work for Boots, Lloyds and Well Pharmacy, NHS hospital trusts, primary care contractors, local commissioners, and within the global pharmaceutical industry.  Find out more.

Obsessed with cosmetics and how they are made? A career in pharmaceutical and cosmetic science could be the career for you. This course is about the manufacture and creation of drugs and cosmetics, giving you the opportunity to enter two industries – the pharmaceutical industry or cosmetic industry.
