A short talk and Q&A by ÐßÐßÊÓƵ's Sustainability Manager Karl Letten, outlining ÐßÐßÊÓƵ's climate change commitments and the actions being taken on the campus and through engagement with our community to make a difference.

Carbon footprints – all smoke and mirrors? A short talk and Q&A on carbon footprints, the actions taking place on campus as well as how we calculate ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s carbon footprint.

ÐßÐßÊÓƵ has taken a comprehensive approach to measuring and reporting its carbon emissions and includes a wide variety of emissions sources in its reporting. This session will discuss carbon footprints, how the university’s carbon footprint is calculated and the progress the university is making on reducing its footprint and the different projects that are taking place on campus. The session will also cover the differences between net zero, carbon neutral and carbon offsetting.
