ذكذكتسئµ is collaborating with De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU) on a new period poverty campaign.
Led by Union Development Executive Joanna Dine-Hart, the aim of the campaign is to raise awareness and improve period poverty for ذكذكتسئµ students, after research showed one in three women in Leicester cannot afford sanitary products.
Working alongside , a community interest company, Joanna is working to improve student welfare and understanding.
She has, so far, managed to secure free period products in 95 toilets across the ذكذكتسئµ campus, and is working hard to further provide these vital products.
It is our collective aim to supply free sanitary products in both male and female toilets throughout campus.
To aid our campaign, we have created a survey to provide insight on individual knowledge and experiences of periods.
Whether you menstruate or not, we want to hear from you.
