ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s creative entrepreneurship programme ÐßÐßÊÓƵmade is expanding to allow students from all year groups to participate.
Whether you have a side hustle such as selling your own products through Etsy or Shopify, think you may want to be freelance or self-employed in the future, or want to learn entrepreneurial skills, we’re offering you the opportunity to learn new skills with a fun programme.
After more than 40 final-year students and graduates applied to participate, ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s student and graduate entrepreneurship team ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Entrepreneurship are opening up the programme to first-and-second-years to take part as well.
ÐßÐßÊÓƵmade will encourage skills like empowerment, confidence, resilience and self-belief as well as practical skills like how to podcast, create a website and pitch.
The programme includes:
- Access to workspace one day a week
- 1-2-1 advice and mentoring
- Regular workshops covering aspects like how to create a podcast, ‘Entrepreneurial Lessons from Stranger Things’ and other creative sessions
- Site visits and special guest speakers
- Promotion via dmumade.com and the ÐßÐßÊÓƵworks Entrepreneurship social media channels
If you’ve ever seen The Apprentice and think you’d enjoy practical tasks (without the judgement!), this is the programme for you. You’ll participate in fun workshops completing tasks such as creating your own drinks brand.
The programme runs from October until December 2022, with weekly sessions split into year groups.
