As the first in a series of events on the research theme of 'Living in a Digital Society', the ذكذكتسئµ events team are pleased to announce an online Round Table on the ethics and practices of research for development.
The event will look at how digital methods have the potential to lower the costs of technologies that are otherwise largely unaffordable in developing nations, and how pursuing research in this area throws up significant ethical and practical matters.
Chaired by Professor Gabriel Egan, Director of the research theme 'Living in a Digital Society', this Round Table will bring together four ذكذكتسئµ colleagues: Dr Caroline Khene, Professor Eerke Boiten, Dr Karthikeyan Kandan and Professor Jinsong Shen.
