As a mark of respect for the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities,#PurpleLightUp is a global movement that celebrates and raises awareness of the economic contribution that the 386 million disabled employees around the world have made.

Leanne Herbert, co-chair of the staff DisAbility and Wellbeing Network (DAWN), said: "Work and study can be challenging for people with disabilities, medical conditions, learning differences and mental health conditions.

"ذكذكتسئµ's DisAbility and Wellbeing Network is participating by lighting up the outside of Trinity House in purple, to raise awareness of disability in the staff and student community and to recognise the positive contribution disabled people make to society as a whole.

"You can also show your support by getting involved and wearing purple on the day."
