Students with a passion for the planet are being invited to take part in a hackathon which could have a real impact on the climate emergency here in Leicester.
As part of the Leicester Business Festival, the Sustainability Hackathon will challenge students from ذكذكتسئµ, Loughborough and Leicester universities to come up with solutions to a challenge put to them by Leicester City Council and Leicestershire County Council.
You will have just 48 hours to come up with creative ideas for plans that could be adopted and become reality, taken on by the authorities or the business community.
ذكذكتسئµ has teamed up with NatWest to run the event, which takes place online on Wednesday 10 and Thurday 11 November.
You'll have the chance to use ideas and development tools from the bank’s Business Builder Programme.
Entrants will be put into teams of five to create, develop and pitch your ideas to public sector policy advisors and business leaders judges.
Not only will you be working on a real climate innovation challenge, you’ll build new entrepreneurial skills such as business modelling, pitching, team building and leadership.
